Cranbrook Pride Society Notice of Annual General Meeting

The AGM will provide an opportunity to review the past year’s achievements, discuss future plans, and elect the board of directors for the upcoming year. All members, allies, and supporters of Cranbrook Pride are encouraged to attend!! You do not need experience with a board to come and join us at this meeting or get involved. We only ask that you come with an open mind and enthusiasm to learn!

Agenda items will include:

• Opening and Welcome

• Approval of the Agenda

• Review of Minutes from Previous AGM

• Annual Report

• Financial Report

• Election of Board Members

• New Business

• Member Questions, Comments, and Closing Remarks

Note:

Election of Directors In accordance with the bylaws, all directors retire at the Annual General Meeting. The Society must elect a minimum of five (5) directors, including the officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer). Prior to nominations, the membership will determine by ordinary resolution the number of directors to be elected for the coming year (not fewer than five).

Separate elections will then be held for each office, followed by elections for the remaining director positions.

Notice is hereby given to all members of the Cranbrook Pride Society in accordance with the bylaws.

Members in good standing are eligible to vote and to stand for election to the Board.
